What this Blog is About
I have looked at a number of blogs where
people have committed to doing something every day for a year or for another
long period of time, such as paint a picture or take a new photograph. I love this concept, but I am not good with
commitment – I am not even a fan of commitment.
However I do like a little structure along with a bit of a
challenge. So rather than try to do
something for a year – which sounds overwhelmingly daunting to me - I thought
that 30 days would be a semi-reasonable amount of time to try to do something. After the 30 days were over, I can move on to
something else.
In April I worked on 30 days of habits –
adding a new one or revising an old one each day. In May I worked on identifying what I believe
and meditating and journaling on each item.
Then I thought it might be interesting to try to do a 30 Day Challenge
and blog about it. I made a surprisingly
long list of things that I would like to do. I finally decided on the one that I will do
for June. So for June (which also
happens to be my birthday month), I am going to make one Artist Trading Card
(ATC) every day.
