Today
is a nostalgia day. I had a completely
unexpected and awesome visit from the son of my best childhood friend Joanne.
He showed up at my office to say hello!
He came from California to visit his girlfriend who is a student at the
college. Our conversation filled me with
memories of growing up in Rochester and how much I loved my childhood. So today’s magnet had to be a memory from those
days and it is “Pokey” from the Gumby and Pokey show. I had this Pokey doll in my collection of “stuff”. I added a strong magnet and now this memory
can sit on my fridge.
