These
are the stockings I am displaying this year.
I wanted to take a picture of them hanging on the fireplace, but they
twist a bit when hanging and I couldn’t get a good direct shot that showed each
one clearly. So I settled them on the
back of my oversized chair and tried taking the picture in several light settings. This is the one that I like best.
When we
were little we didn’t have fancy crafty stockings. We got to run up to our rooms right before
bed on Christmas eve and bring down one of our actual socks to hang on the
fireplace. I remember how exciting it
was to hang the sock in the evening and wake up to find it filled in the
morning.
