Day 18 - GI Joe Nativity

 

I was digging through some old photographs recently and found this picture of a nativity scene I created when I was a child using “Barbie-like” dolls and my brother’s GI Joes.  I made the costumes and accessories for each of them and set the display in my bedroom.  I wish I had some better photos of this, but was happy to at least find this one.  While trying unsuccessfully to do some digital enhancement to make the picture clearer, I found out the negative image of this photo had an interesting effect and decided to include it as well.  It looks like a glow-in-the-dark outdoor Christmas display.
