Day 2 - Yarn and Knitting Needles

Today’s miniature is two balls of yarn and two knitting needles.  I thought about relearning to knit this summer and got as far as casting on, but then decided I had too many other things to do and took it off my list.  So this is my version of knitting for this summer.  The yarn is made of wrapped embroidery floss which is much harder to wrap into a tiny ball than one might think.  The knitting needles are actually regular pins and when stuck into the “yarn” balls, I think they create the illusion of knitting needles.  (The basket is a miniature I already had in my collection and it adds to the effect.)
